Year 7 2022 Orientation Robotics Demonstration

Tuesday 23rd November was Orientation Day for our future Year 7 boys in 2022 and Granville Boys High School once again impressed local primary school students with a Robotics demonstration.

Year 10 Robotics students competed in a demonstration match on our new Vex competition field with Vex V5 robots that were designed, constructed and programmed by our Year 9 and 10 Robotics students. Judging by the cheering from the crowd on the day, the blue team were clear favourites, however, the red team were the winners!

There was even an appearance by the “mega-granbot”, our human size robot built and programmed by GBHS students, which was a finalist in the 2021 South Pacific First Robotics Competition earlier this year.
