WW1 Living History Year 9 and 10 incursion

As a part of Human Society and Its Environment (HSIE) Australian History subject, Year 9 and 10 experienced a unique interactive presentation from the World War 1 (WW1) Living History team earlier this month. They listened to an informative presentation and were able to hold some objects that Australian soldiers used while fighting in the trenches of the Western Front during WW1. Students were able to closely examine a gas mask, a periscope, an artillery shell casing, and more.

This was a great opportunity for the boys to get some hands-on experience with the historical sources and artefacts they often read about in history textbooks.
