35 Granville Boys students inducted in 2025 Student Representative Council

Congratulations to all 35 students who were formally recognised and inducted into the 2025 Student Representative Council (SRC) on Tuesday, 18 March. This was an important occasion, not just for those elected, but for our entire school community.
Being a member of the SRC is not just about wearing a badge or attending meetings; it is about leadership, responsibility, and service. The students have been chosen because their peers see them as leaders: individuals who will listen, act, inspire change, and represent the values of our school: integrity, respect, and a commitment to making a difference.
"By taking on a leadership role in Granville Boys High School’s Student Representative Council, you can look forward to the challenge of pushing yourself and your peers to new heights," said Mrs. Kiran, SRC coordinator.
Student leadership at Granville Boys High School provides our young males with opportunities and support to find their voices, participate in decision-making, understand their rights and responsibilities, and be the social conscience of our student body. The SRC is an opportunity for students to lead and represent others. It allows emerging leaders to be part of a leadership program that celebrates student accomplishment, encouraging students to be open and receptive to new ideas and to bring their enthusiasm and innovative ideas to the table.
