FIRST Honduras team visits Granville Boys

We met the FIRST Honduras team, Aldebaran Mighty Bulls, led by Miss Lucy, at the Western Edge FIRST LEGO League Open in Long Beach, California. We invited them to Granville Boys High School since they were travelling to Australia for the FIRST LEGO League Asia Pacific Open Championships, taking place this weekend, 4 to 7 July. Our own team, the Granbots, will also compete there.

During their visit, the Honduran team enjoyed a Vegemite on toast tasting and toured our school facilities. They joined a select group of robotics students for an El Jannah lunch and exchanged gifts with us; we received Honduran coffee and unique souvenirs while we presented them with Tim Tams, BBQ Shapes, Vegemite, an Australian map, and various Australiana items.
