Granbots Set Off on Their USA Adventure Today

And they’re off. Best of luck to the Granbots team!

10 Granville Boys High School robotics students, ranging from Year 8 to Year 11, are off to the USA today to compete in the Western Edge FIRST LEGO League Open robotics competition in Long Beach, California. They’ll be the ONLY team representing Australia.

They’ll then be travelling to NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, to participate in an immersive experience.

The students are accompanied by Principal Mr Dixon, Head Teacher Innovation, Teaching and Learning and Robotics Coordinator Ms Donnelly, and GBHS alumnus and robotics coach Atakan.
