Granville Boys climbs several hundred places in the HSC rankings in just a few years.
Granville Boys High School was mentioned in an article titled Low-fee Sydney schools that beat their expensive HSC rivals, published in the Sun-Herald on Sunday, 22 December.

The bulk of the top 300 schools in the HSC rankings teach students from the highest quartiles of socio-educational advantage. This year, nearly half of the schools in the top 300 were private. Just eight of the schools taught students in the lowest socio-educational quartile.
Of those, public schools such as Granville Boys High School and Dapto High School have climbed several hundred places on the rankings in the past few years. Granville Boys has tripled its success rate since 2022.
Donovan, the 2024 School Captain at Granville Boys High School, achieved the highest ATAR score in the school with an impressive 98.65 in this year's HSC results.
Charles, who served as Vice Captain at Granville Boys High School in 2024, achieved an impressive ATAR score of 96.65. What makes Charles' story particularly remarkable is that he joined our school as an international student, with English not being his primary language. Demonstrating such an outstanding result after just six years of schooling is a testament to his hard work and dedication.
