Students earn Bronze Award after program camping trip

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award students are now fully qualified to receive the Bronze Award after meeting all course requirements, culminating in their final camping trip at The Basin campground in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

From Monday, 9 December to Wednesday, 11 December, the boys engaged in several outdoor and physical activities, including swimming, fishing, hiking, cooking, pitching tents, and building campfires, all while enjoying the natural beauty of the national park.

This group of boys has spent many hours meeting the program requirements, developing various skills, volunteering their time and being physically active. This has encouraged them to set and achieve goals at a level appropriate to their needs.
