Presentation Day 2024

Presentation Day 2024 at Granville Boys High School

Presentation Day is where we come together to acknowledge the wonderful work of the Granville Boys High School students receiving awards today. 2024 has been an extraordinary year.

The Innovation Centre is now open, preparing our students for the jobs of the future.

Sporting successes include:

  • Junior and senior teams both defended their titles in the Bachar Houli Cup
  • Prospect Zone basketball championship winners
  • Quarter-finalists in the Davidson Shield statewide cricket competition

Other achievements include our debating teams, chess club competitors, and students participating in The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award program.

The Granbots robotics students continue to excel. Over 260 students participated in the FIRST LEGO League (FLL), VEX IQ, VEX 5, and FIRST Robotics Competition. Our winning FLL team traveled to Long Beach, California, to compete internationally and visited NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

A heartfelt thank you to the senior executives: Principal Mr Dixon, Ms Ram, Mr Zayied and Ms Donnelly, and the Head Teachers: Mr Benic, Mrs Khan, Mrs Rudek, Ms Loughlin, Mr Mandarakas, Mr Abraham, Mr Hablos, Miss Zeidan and Mrs Bolbol. Thank you to all teachers and the Student Learning Support Officers who have cared for and directly taught the students of Granville Boys throughout 2024.

Gratitude is extended to the parents. For a child to succeed in life, a few critical things are needed, with support and guidance being the most important. Parents demonstrated this care every day by being alongside their sons to celebrate their achievements.

The school looks forward to building stronger partnerships with parents to promote safety, respect, and learning among students. Appreciation is given for the contribution to their sons' educational accomplishments, with the hope that this support continues in the future.
