Granbots win Engineering Excellence Award at Regional FIRST LEGO League

Our Year 8 Granbots robotics team competed in the Parramatta Regional FIRST LEGO League Tournament at Parramatta Marist High School on Saturday, 2 November. The Granbots were awarded the Engineering Excellence Award, which recognises robotics teams that demonstrate a professional approach to the design process, and have an efficiently designed robot and an innovative project solution.

Even better, these students are now qualified to compete in the National Championship FIRST Tech Challenge at Macquarie University from 7 to 8 December.

Well done to Granbots team members Barsam, Sheyonne, Stephen, Ibad, Vihaan, Dhairya, and Daniel for truly ‘Aiming for Excellence’ by achieving such outstanding results and qualifying for the finals.
