Highly Commended Award win at Metro Minds STEAM Challenge

Our Stage 4 to 5 STEM and iSTEM students entered the Sydney Metro’s Metro Minds STEAM Challenge where they competed against 90 other teams across NSW. As a part of the competition the students had to come up with an innovative solution to an authentic Sydney Metro challenge or opportunity.

One of our teams, consisting of Andy Nguyen, Nabil Uddin, Barsam Khalilipour and Daiwik Maduri, won the judges’ Highly Commended Award for their project 'Multipurpose Train Carriage'. We were one of only three teams from across NSW to receive this honour. These students were invited to be presented with their award at the competition Finalists’ Awards Ceremony at UTS on Friday 25 August. Congratulations boys!
