Camp at Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park

Camp at Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park

20 students from Year 8, 9 and 10 went camping for three days at the Basin campground, overlooking Pittwater in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park as a part of the Granville Boys High School Outdoor Education extra-curricular program.

Attended and supervised by Ms Donnelly, Mr Mandarakas and Mr Hinselwood, the boys enjoyed camping in tents in the natural environment amongst native wildlife including kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, lace monitors and beautiful native Australian birds. Each day they bushwalked, swam, fished and took turns to cook nutritious meals.

The students had a great time at this beautiful location but were surely looking to sleep well in their own beds after this camping experience.
