Granbots win four awards at Regional Robotics Competition

FIRST Robotics Competition Australia Regionals Granville Boys

Our Granbots had a very successful win on Saturday 18 November. Our robotics teams took home a total of four awards at the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition Australia Regionals in Bosley Park and Kellyville.

Two of the teams, Granbots 3 and Granbots 5, have progressed to the FIRST Robotics Competition Australia Nationals on 2 December.

Here are the awards won on Saturday 18 November:

Bosley Park:

  • Granbots 3 won the Champions Award and progressed to Nationals on 2 December. Students in Granbots 3: Andy, Rithvik, Sreemen, Ayaan, Nabil, Abdullah and Luke.
  • Granbots 4 won the Robot Design Award. Students in Granbots 4: Tiger, Maxime, Daniel and Jasper.
  • Granbots 3 also won the Robot Performance Award.

Kellyville:

  • Granbots 5 won the Champions Award and progressed to the Nationals on 2 December. Students in Granbots 5: Arvind, Tejorum, Adarsh, Shabaz and Maheshwah.

A great effort by all students and teams involved. Well done.
