Granville Boys hosts Girl Powered with REC Foundation and Google

October is the official month to celebrate and raise awareness of the contributions of women to STEM fields so Granville Boys High School hosted Girl Powered, an initiative by REC Foundation and presented by Google.

We were joined by AusDiagnostics Human Resource & Work Health and Safety Manager Nadine Jones, Marketing Manager Olivia Cayzer,Senior, Manufacturing Engineer Alana Hearne, and Quality Control Scientist Paige Narbeshuber and students from Bankstown Girls High School.

The team of leading women spoke to the students about careers in STEM and organisations such as AusDiagnostics and worked with them throughout the day. The students formed teams to build robots and present mini innovation projects.
