Granville Boys hosts its own GALA Day

It was a very special occasion as we got to welcome our new house teams:

• Evans Eagles (Yellow)
• Kempster Kangaroos (Blue)
• Reily Redbacks (Red)
• Steinbeck Stingrays (Green)
• We also recognised the positive learning and behaviour at our school. 

We started the day with a delicious Pancake Breakfast. 

The we engaged in PBIS (Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports) framework lessons to support positive behavioural interventions as a whole school approach.

With PBIS lessons we learnt how to be:

• SAFE
• RESPECTFUL
• LEARNERS

We then had a delicious BBQ Sausage Sizzle during recess. Thank you to the kitchen, marshals, servers and student helpers.

After a wholesome meal it was time to get our “game face on”! On rotation we had years 7 to 10 competing in:

• Oztag
• Basketball
• Handball
• Volleyball
• Soccer
• Boardgames
• Chess
• Robotics

After lunch we battled it out in house groups for a Tug of War competition.
