Year 8 Selective I-Stem Presentations

On Wednesday, 27 October students from the Year 8 Selective I-Stem (Innovative Learning) class presented various research projects that they completed in term 3.

Presentation topics included famous innovators and inventors, as well as the space race and moon landing. The students presented their projects to their classroom teacher Ms Donnelly, Year 8 Deputy Principal Mr Mandarakas, and GBHS Principal Mr Dixon.

Students were able to choose their method of presenting their research, and this resulted in a variety of presentations including websites, animations, Minecraft designs, infographics, and digital games including a game created on Scratch that was reminiscent of the classic 1980's arcade game, Space Invaders.
